The Carson-Wall Funeral Homes have been serving the families of southeast Kansas for many years.   The Burris-Wall Funeral Home started in Parsons in 1966 and the Carson Funeral Home began in 1924.  In 1979 the two firms merged . The firm also operates funeral homes in Erie, St. Paul and Girard and Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Parsons.  The funeral home at 112 No. 26th St. was build in 1980 and underwent a major renovation starting in 2001.

Staff members in Parsons include Gary and Shirley Wall, Ned Wall, Justin Brown, Marty Mendicki, Brian May and Karen Steinbacher.  Several part time employees assist with visitations and funerals.

The funeral home in Parsons has records of several former funeral homes in Parsons that dates back to the late 1800’s.
