Design. The Design Committee works to enhance the visual appeal of the downtown district through attention to all elements of the environment, including building façades, streetscapes and window displays. Working in conjunction with a variety of other agencies and partners, the Design Committee has succeeded in establishing historic preservation as a guiding principle in the restoration of the Parsons business district. Work continues on signage, building façades, and other elements of the appearance of the downtown district.
